Savior of the World
Last Thursday I went with my ward to Salt Lake to see Savior of the World. It was a wonderful way to start of December and be reminded of what we are celebrating this Christmas Season. It was also fun to be able to see the temple and the lights on Temple Square. They are so beautiful! With my friend John after the performance.

Festival Of Trees

A couple of weekends ago I went and volunteered at Festival of Trees. I answered questions and shared stories about the trees. It was amazing to see so many trees, gingerbread houses, wreaths, and centerpieces.

Football in the SNOW

It snowed all day so some people in the ward decided to go play a game of tackle football. It was so much fun!

Weekend In BOISE!

This past weekend Kristen, Eliza, and I went home with Emily to Boise. We went for a walk along the Bosie River and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather, made caramel apples, had a fun Halloween dinner, and went to a corn maze. Then on our way back on Sunday afternoon we stopped my my house to have Dinner with my parents and Joelle. It was great!

We pretended to be fish at a fun little nature center.

Intramural Fun
This past week my flag football team tied and my volleyball team won four games to keep us in the tournament. The flag football game was pretty exciting. At halftime Eliza had to go to work and so we were playing with six while the opposing team had seven. It came down to the last couple of minutes when we were down 0 to 6 and the opposing team had the ball. With about a minute left I caught an interseption and we marched down the field and scored with about 4 seconds left in the game. It was a lot of fun. As for volleyball...we have been playing with four all month and continue to do so in the tournament. On tuesday we ended up playing with three because inbetween games Kristen Chambers rolled her ankle and couldn't play. But luckily we still won and we are still pressing on through the tournament. I will let you know how it goes! I hope everyone has a great week!

Regency 302
I am sorry that I have not blogged for over a month. School is going well and I am having a good time. My flag football team is 2 and 0 and we play again this Wednesday. I am also playing on a co-ed basketball team with brandon and we won our first game by about 40 and then tied our last game when Adam Christensen hit a three at the last second. I am also playing on a volleyball team but the results from that are not real impressive. We are yet to win a game and we will probably be done this week but it has been fun to play.
This weekend for conference...Saturday morning we made crapes and Brandon, Craig, and Bret came over to watch with us and then Sunday afternoon I we had a little Aspen Grove get together and watched conference and had dinner. It was a great weekend!

Stewart Falls Hike
A few weeks ago Caroline and the kids came up and we hiked to Stewart Falls. The girls did a great job hiking and it was fun to spend some time with them.

I love Aspen Grove
I have had a great time working at Aspen Grove as all of you know. Last Thursday I switched my standby assignment of working in the store so that I could go to the family dance. It was so much fun! Here are a few pictures with my friends from that night.

A couple of weeks ago a group of us floated down the Provo River after work. We had a great time and it felt great after cleaning all morning!

Weekend FUN!
It was so fun to go home this past weekend. Friday night Mom, Joelle, and I went to American Falls to Erin Mower's wedding reception and then I spent all of Saturday on the river with Brandon, Craig, Adam, and Nicole Lords. Sunday I went to church and then packed up my car for school. It is hard to believe that it is time to go back to school. Tuesday I moved most of my stuff into my new apartment and I am very excited for the fall and BYU FOOTBALL!

Fun at Aspen Grove
Sorry I haven't blogged for a long time. My wireless doesn't work very well and it doesn't stay connected long enough to get any pictures on. So I will blog my pictures from the past month when I go home this next weekend.
Yesterday we started our last full week family camp. After it is over we just have one more week with BYU Foundation of Leadership which is for incoming freshmen and then a mini family camp. It is hard to believe that the summer is already coming to an end but it has been a lot of fun.
Two weeks ago Caroline and the kids came up and we hiked to Stewart Falls. It was a lot of fun and the girls did great. Hilary even walked almost the whole way which isn't easy. Last weekend Mom and Joelle came down to do some school shopping and we went to the outdoor production of The Music Man in Orem. It was neat to have it outside and Mom loved it so I was glad they came down for it.
This past week has been a lot of fun. I went swimming almost every day and played ultimate frisbee, dodgeball, basketball, sand volleyball, and wallyball. Oh and don't worry I also managed to fit in some time to work as well. Friday, after we finished cleaning, a group of about 10 of us went and floated the Provo River. We had a great time and then came back up to camp to watch High School Musical 2.
Today I had kind of a fun surprise when Katie's friend Marie brought her son Spencer in to nursery. They are up here for the day with her husband's family before the head back home. It was fun to see her and her kids are very cute.
Just two more weeks!

Back on the River

Christmas In July

This past week we had Christmas in July for the staff which was a lot of fun. One night we split into eight groups to make gramcracker creations. Every group had to make something at Aspen Grove. My group decided to make Stewart Falls and it turn out really well. We took second place and won free icecream from the store!

July 4th
STADIUM OF FIRE

For the 4th of July I went to Stadium of Fire with Kaela, Sara, and Scott. Kaela lives in Provo so we went to her house and had a bar-b-q and then walked to the stadium. Brooks and Dunn performed and the fireworks were awesome!

Hike to Stewart Falls
This week has been a lot of fun. We started playing wally ball and it is my new favorite thing to do around here. In the afternoon it is fun to get a group of the dining hall staff together to play. This week we played racquetball, wally ball, basketball in the pool, and did the ropes course. This weekend we had a staff party in Provo and went ice blocking and played ultimate frisbee which was very fun. Then on Saturday morning I went with some girls that work up here down to the Provo temple and then came back and went on my first hike since I have been here which I will admit is a little embarrassing. I hiked with Scott to Stewart Falls so here are a few pictures of us together. (sorry it took so long)

Friends get together!
A couple of weeks ago I went down to Provo and spent some time with Amy and Eliza who I will be living with in the Fall. We went to the planetarium and had fun walking around campus and eating watermelon. Then they came up to Aspen Grove last Tuesday and we went to Frontier Night, played mini golf and shuffle board, and got ice cream from the store. It was very fun to spend some time with them and I am very excited to live with them next semester!

Having fun at ASPEN GROVE
It was so fun to have Mom, Dad, and Joelle come and visit at Aspen Grove. Monday afternoon we played miniature golf and did some of the family activities on the ball field. Dad's favorite was the golf simulator where he was able to practice up for when he goes to play with the boys again. Tuesday afternoon we raced remote control cars and I just happened to win 2 out of the 3 races! That night we went to the Frontier Night that they have every Tuesday. They have a little frontier village where Joelle and I got our faces painted along with activities like archery and ax throwing. Dad was pretty good at getting the axes to stick into the log stumps and Mom was amazing at the archery and hit the bear all three times!
