Setting Sun....
This summer I have fallen in love with sunsets! I have seen the sun set over Jerusalem, over the Great Pyramid's in Egypt, over the Sea of Galilee, and over the Mediterranean Sea. I have started to realize that this life is full of sunsets. I remember sitting in the locker room my senior year and my volleyball coach telling us that this was only the beginning to "last times." Time passes and eventually everything comes to an end whether it is a high school volleyball career, a year of college, or an amazing study abroad in the Holy Land.

My summer is now coming to a close and I will be returning to the states on Friday. The sun is setting on this portion of my life and as my friend Monica said, "I am ready for this phase to be over and for a new one to start." It has been a wonderful experience. I will always remember the time that I have had here but I am looking forward to what lies ahead. There are many more sunrises ahead that will bring many more beautiful sunsets.

I can't wait to see everyone soon!

Last few days in the Holy Land...

It is hard to believe it but I will be returning home in just over a week. Things don't seem to slow down around here.

This Thursday and Friday I will take finals and then I will try to soak in as much of this city as I can before I leave. Monday and Tuesday we have our "Last Week" fieldtrip where we will follow the last week of the Savior's life and visit the sights. I have done a lot of reflecting the last couple of weeks and I am overwhelmed with amazment at everything that I have had the opportunity to see and learn in the past 3 months. This experience has truely been life changing and I know that it is something that I will be able to draw from for the rest of my life.

Sadly, my computer has decided to stop working for the last week so I will have to see if I can find another way to post a few last pictures before coming home. You never realize usefull somthing is until it doesn't work anymore. :(
